Custom Pet Urn Production Process
1. Clay Body Creation
Every pet has unique features in its mouth, ears, tail and other details.
Once we receive an order, our sculpting team creates a custom‑formed clay body based on your pet’s characteristics.
Great care is taken to control body thickness and uniform moisture of clay material.
Improper handling may lead to cracking, deformation or fissures in later stages.
The clay‑forming process takes 1‑5 working days.
2. Bisque Firing
After thorough air‑drying, the clay body undergoes bisque firing at 800℃.
Clay dries very slowly in winter.
If fired before fully dried, the piece will develop various cracks after high‑temperature firing, raising the breakage rate.
3. Hand‑painted Artwork
Our painters hold professional fine‑art backgrounds with over 10‑years of painting experience.
All artists complete minimum 15‑specialized training sessions before handling customer orders.
They reproduce your pet’s features, fur texture and coat color faithfully.
Ceramic pigments and painting techniques differ greatly from regular painting, requiring extensive practical expertise.
4. Glazing
Even with identical glaze material, thickness and firing temperature alter glaze color and fluidity.
We repeatedly test glazes and stick to proven glaze formulas to ensure stable outcomes.
We apply glaze by dipping or spraying according to each shape.
Uniform glaze thickness prevents glaze shrinkage spots and other flaws.
5. High‑temperature Firing
Final firing takes place at 1250℃, the most critical stage for ceramic craftsmanship.
While modern gas and electric kilns simplify loading operations, firing curve, temperature and cooling time must be precisely controlled.
6. Final Finishing & Shipping
Once firing finishes, we smooth the base and remove sharp burrs.
Each urn is securely packed for anti‑breakage delivery.
Every step for custom ceramic pet urns demands meticulous work.
One careless mistake can ruin the whole piece.
Each custom pet urn is a unique, hand‑painted artwork.
Custom orders supported, dropshipping available for single‑piece orders.
